Mr. Steve Spaeder

Stephen Spaeder is a principal of Equus Capital Partners, Ltd., serving as the Firm’s President and CEO, responsible for overall Firm direction and investment performance. Since beginning his real estate career in 1988, Mr. Spaeder’s has held multiple senior leadership roles including President of Equus Development, L.P., the Firm’s real estate development operating company, where he was responsible for planning and implementing a broad range of ground up and adaptive re-use projects. Under his leadership, the Firm has completed projects representing more than $2 billion in value and has been an industry leader in sustainable site and building design. In addition, he was responsible for oversight of Equus’ office and industrial property Acquisition and Asset Management Teams. Mr. Spaeder is a member of the Investment Committee and has served continually since its formation. Mr. Spaeder holds an M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance and a B.S. in Finance from Villanova University where he continues to participate as a member of the Villanova School of Business Dean’s Advisory Council. He also serves as a Board Member for the Union League of Philadelphia.
